About

Jason’s long career includes lighting London productions at the Union, Jermyn Street, the King’s Head, the Finborough, New Players (now Charing Cross) theatre, and the Scoop amphitheater at City Hall. In a decade based in Seattle he worked regularly with a variety of theatre, opera, and dance companies, and his work with the company theater simple has toured to festivals in the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore. In 2014 he helped publish Love Letters to the Home Office, a book compiling stories of families separated by the 2012 UK Family Immigration Rules, which this year was adapted for the stage and he subsequently produced at Battersea Arts Centre and as a one-off event at the Edinburgh Fringe Summerhall. Jason holds an MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Washington.
