For over 20 years Jason has designed lighting for theatre, dance, and opera, working in venues of all sizes in Seattle, London, and elsewhere. His work with the Seattle company theater simple has toured to festivals in the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Turkmenistan.

He is the co-artistic director of Vulcanello Productions and the annual London Lovecraft Festival.

In 2014 he helped publish Love Letters to the Home Office, a book compiling stories of families separated by the 2012 UK Family Immigration Rules. In 2015 the book was adapted for the stage as an ongoing, evolving, non-violent protest of the conservative government immigration policy, and has now seen successful presentations in London and Edinburgh.

Jason holds an MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Washington.
